A Cold Day in Hell
Church of Pelor in Greenville
The church of Pelor in Greenville is quite small. It’s a simple and open room with high ceilings and stained glass windows. A statue of Pelor stands in the middle of the room, with pews sort of arranged around it. Towards the left, it braches off to the infirmary and a small room with the ‘complete’ pantheon’s icons in small niches. It also has an altar of sorts you can put the icon on to worship a particular deity. Only a few deities are actually present in the room, including some that normally are allowed/encouraged to be in there. So, it’s Moradin, Corellon Larethian, Heironeous, Yondalla, St. Cuthbert, Boccob, Garl Glittergold, and Fharlanghn. Usually, these places would also have icons for Ehlonna, Kord, and Obad-Hai. Some of the generic prayer rooms include Wee Jas and Olidammara; however, that is a lot more rare.
The entrance to the infirmary is closed off by a huge maroon curtain and is guarded on the other side. Unlike most priests, Johnnathan Lobst likes to give sermons several times a week. A decent bit of the town attends at least one; mainly because he tends to address issues relating to town concerns with a more ‘moral’ perspective.
